The nose leg is 1 7/8" long with Meccano threads both ends to suit nuts and the thread in the cut down plastic suspension part supplied - The brace has been added for realism by comparison with the prototype and the metal spring clip fitted on the tail cone represents the tail skid, not shown in the illustration
