The Eiffel Tower -- By Stefan Tokarski

The Eiffel Tower Base

Keeping the base the same as in the manual at 30" square but I had some latitude with height. The main legs where reduced in width by 2 holes, there was a flat girder under first platform which is 36/37 depending on what you have in parts. I used 37 but overlapped 1 hole to the right in each face. under which has 11 hole strips and above angle girders supporting the platform.

The arch made up of #89 which help its appearance. On top of the section was mounted 7 holes in from each corner#77 raised up and allowing the next section to be bolted to it. The reason is that the section above is 1 hole shorter to allow for the taper of the tower.
