About the Model:

My first model as an adult meccanoman... and I'd like to know what I had in mind when I decided to begin with such a model! Six independant movements, tracks, rams: all you need for a simple model... on which I spent almost one year of intensive work. But with some benefits: I had to get many more parts than I initially though I would, and I've learned a lot!

The result isn't as impressive than Michael Adler's or Jean-Pierre Veyet's excavator models (among others), but anyway I'm quite proud of it :-) !

I (vaguely) took the main proportions from some Liebherr documentations; anyway I didn't spend much time on detailed modeling, such as fitting fake pneumatic tubes and so on. The model weights about 12 kg (non including the electric supply), and uses no less than 81 gears and sprockets.
