About the Model:

The 170/250 Ton Krupp Crane drawings are available if you want to make it, it was a project for French school children If you look at the site you will see that they were given help.

When I saw it I thought it looked different to all the ones I had seen and later found out that I was right. As I had made all the gearboxes in the ISM magazines it was good that I could use some of them in the model, all the upper motors were running on 3v and the lower leg motors on 6v, it was never rewired to be controlled from a single controller due to the fact that as I am paralysed and in a wheelchair had to build it in sections and then ask my dear wife to put it together without tools, the whole jib lifts off as it split at the pintal bearing and gear ring half way down the mast.

This was a very nice model to make and not too difficult without instructions and feel like most meccanomen would have no problem.

If you need any more info please ask.
