Gearing to eccentrics

This is a view underneath the skateboard showing the gearing to the eccentrics. Note that the shaft driving these eccentrics is of the 3-flat variety to prevent slippage since this shaft is geared to the next shaft which drives the half inch eccentric that operates the ball release mechanism and these two shafts must remain in step.
