Triumph Herald Chassis-- Built by Roland Jaggard

Frame

The 1959 MM model incorrectly used all U section girders. The torsional weakness of the model was one reason I used my GRB stand to keep it flat and stable while it was being worked on. In the real car the floor panel with it's central transmission tunnel and the front and rear bulkheads added considerably to the torsional stiffness.
